The Advanced Tubular Benderlink Module attaches directly to benders to allow them to communicate with Benderlink software over a network connection. The connection can be made through wireless WiFi or wired cable.
Each module contains an electronic device that converts TCP/IP signals to RS-232 signals at the bender. TCP/IP signals over network cable give improved reliability to communications because they can travel further than RS-232 signals. The RS-232 signal travels only a short distance between the module and the bender’s COM port.
At the Benderlink computer, each Benderlink module is viewed as a unique COM port by Windows.
Since the module is attached to a bender, it follows the bender wherever it is moved in your shop.
Each Benderlink module is also setup for wireless (or WiFi) if you choose to use wireless connection for serial communications.
The module is configured over the network using the Internet Explorer.
